I talked briefly about Dan Pink's Drive in "Rejection", but you can definitely see Autonomy, Mastery, and elements of Purpose in the research on pressure and burnout and in particular in the JD-R model... Part 2 is where I'll bring it into the modern workplace and what I think we might need to do.
This is great as it brings together stuff I didn't know and chimes with other work e.g. Daniel Pink's Drive. Looking forward to Part 2
